Drašković Winery
(Swisslion-Takovo)

The Drašković Winery was built on the foundations of the one of the largest wineries in the former Yugoslavia – „Vršački vinogradi“, which was privatized in 2017 by the company “Swisslion-Takovo”. Currently, there are about 450 ha under vineyards, the white grape varieties are: Italian Riesling, Muscat Otonel, Rhine Riesling, White Burgundy, Chardonnay, Smederevka, Župljanka, Šasla, Rkaciteli and autochthonous Kreaca. From the black varieties, Frankovka, Muscat Hamburg, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz (Syrah) are grown. Annual production is about 3 million liters of wine.
