Bifrost Bioplastics develops an eco-friendly material made from industrial hemp processing waste and food byproducts, offering 100% biodegradable products aimed at replacing plastic usage. Its mission is to reduce plastic waste and CO₂ emissions, preserve soil and foster a circular economy. The first pilot product, Hemp “OKИ” pots, directly supports sustainable development with its energy-efficient production process and fertilizing the land.

Bifrost has established collaborations with the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Biology in Belgrade, the Mihajlo Pupin Institute, the Jevremovac Botanical Garden, and the Association of Hemp Growers of Serbia.
