The Radovanović family entered the adventure of winemaking in 1990, in a small cellar under the family house. With the help of his parents, who brought the first winemaking equipment from France, Miodrag Radovanović began his wine story.

Winery

Situated at a beautiful and hilly place in the central part of Serbia, known as Šumadija, Vintage Cellar Radovanović combined geographical variety and viticulture tradition, initiated at the locality of Krnjevo as early as in 1831. Motivated by love for wine combined with the acquired knowledge and experience, Miodrag Radovanović, an oenologist, founded his own cellar at the beginning of the 1990’s.

In time, a new brand of Serbian wines was created with the help of patience and love.

Today, thanks to the latest technology and wish of the Radovanović family, who have always searched for new challenges, we produce a wide palette of quality wines.

The capacity of winery is 750,000l, with 240,000l ageing in barrique barrels, casks and fermenters made of French, Serbian and American oak.

Variety recognition and quality stability made Vintage Cellar Radovanović synonymous for excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling…

In order to improve the quality of wine processing, fermentation and ageing, and with great devotion to the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, we have been motivated to build a new gravitation winery where we are going to produce high quality Cabernet Sauvignon wines, making us widely known.

Vineyards

The vineyard of family Radovanović is in the northern part of Šumadija region, in Krnjevo vineyard on the slopes of Golać Hill, on 160-220m above the sea-level. The climate in Šumadija is moderately continental. It is characterized by hot summers and cold winters with distinct difference between day and night. The type of soil is cambisol with lower and deeper layers of carbonates, depending on exposition. Our 55 hectares of vineyard are on the south, southeast and southwest exposition that provides good insolation of vine. The wines from Radovanović Cellar are a result of an outstanding combination of terrain and microclimate, thorough work of enthusiasts, devoted to achieve persistent results in harvesting quality grapes. Rose Aromatic, semi-sweet wine is different from others. The Wine for Overture and Finale, cheerful and jubilant, with special sense of elegance.
