HealthControl Niš is an innovative startup focused on research and development in the field of medical technology and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). The company has developed a medical device ptototype for HBOT that, through sensors, in real time measures the patient’s physiological and chamber parameters. The system is managed by an expert control module that reacts to any significant change in physiological parameters, triggers alarms, and proposes new therapy protocols accordingly.

Statistics: questionnaire conducted among HBOT specialists demonstrated need and interest for an product such as device that HealthControl develops:

• 67% of respondents find this comprehensive monitoring and alert system to be highly beneficial for improving therapy outcomes and patient safety during HBOT
• 7% of respondents would use the device for faster response in case of significant changes in physiological parameters
• 7% highlighted increased therapy safety and the device’s data storage capabilities as key reasons
• 3% would use it for alerting and therapy recommendations, and
• 4% indicated it would be useful for giving patients insight into therapy and reducing staff workload.

These results suggest that the majority of respondents see value in the device’s ability to improve safety, respond quickly to changes, and store data, which further emphasizes the potential importance of such features in HBOT treatments.
